I've decided to post your poem in here..just sharing this to you guyz..

END OF THE DAWN

A POEM MADE BY A FRIEND OF MINE..

It was still dawn, she had been rolling and tossing in her bed for some time now.

She keeps on looking at her mobile, waiting…but to no avail.

The sun’s starting to rise, here comes her mother, waking her up.

Standing up, she reaches her mobile, fighting the temptation…

Getting her things, she went downstairs, leaving her mobile in her room.

She ate her breakfast, took a bath, then go straight back to her room…

There she goes again, back in her room, in her sanctuary,

Fixing herself, she’s still waiting for a single beep…

With every beep, she’s hoping against hope it is he…

The sun had risen, school is waiting, she got to go…

With every step, she’s thinking how would she face him.

Seating on the jeepney, she pays the driver ASAP…then, looks on her mobile again…

Reaching her destination, she goes to her room....

Silenced her mobile, but keep looking at it till the Prof comes in

As every subject ends, every Profs leaves, she checks her mobile…

Now that school is through, there she goes again…back to her routine…

Looking silly while arguing with herself…

Wishing she had never uttered those words…

Words that wishes he could be hers…

Now that its way too late…what can she do but regret?

Regretting the cowardice she exhibit upon taking a risk…

It had been a long walk going home…fighting the devils tempting her to go his way…

How can she ever face him again? Now that the walls between them is in the way…

It had been way too long…they had been together for so long…

But just because of a stupid glass, everything now is lost…

But what can she do?

It was all her fault…

Now she lost him…

She lost the fight…

She lost her everything…

Her house is getting nearer...realizations are starting to dawn…

Nightfall is about to come…her mother is waiting...

Alas! There’s still someone waiting for her…someone to love her…

Her family is already preparing the table as she enters the room…

She hugged her mother tight, and cries hard on her shoulder…

That night, she let go…

She cried, yes, but that’s the only outlet she has…

She promised never to cry again…

Not to cry for those who don’t see her worth…

That night, she falls into the deep abyss of black…

She dreamt of him…

He’s with her…hugging her tightly…giving her comfort and security…

At midnight, a hand had awakened her, gently touching her cheeks…

And there he was, standing, flowing with light…extending a hand on her…

And she took his hand…gripping it tightly…

Now she’s risking it…now she’ll fight for him…

Now, she’ll be with him…

Till forever ends…

Girl Talk!!!

Why can't I get a date?

You're smart, cool and cute - what could you be doing wrong?
We list the secret reasons why you can't "hook up" and give
you hints on how to fix 'em
- By Maricris Orpiano

Remember: men like women who likes men.

You don't have to scream to the world that you love men
just as you love clothes and bags. But neither should you
yell to the world or at least give the impression, that you
do not need men. Truth is, men like women who like men.

You're too intelligent for love.

It's still a funny phenomenon why many intelligent, smart,
successful girls are'nt as successful in the dating scene.
They get the position, they enjoy the fame, and they bring
home the money-but never the men. Usually, these are
women on top who know what they want and know exactly
how to get what they want. But that's the thing with intelligent
girls. They know a lot. And more often than not, they know
more than they feel. But that's just one complication. The real
hitch is the wall that they unknowingly create because of their
status. Guys get intimidated by women who have achieved a lot,
and therefore, may expect a lot. It's daunting for men-dating a
woman who's got everything. Sure, it isn't a woman's fault if she's
so smart and so good. But it wouldn't do us intelligent girls any
harm. If we show a bit of our fragile selves. All damsels in distress
were saved by a prince. You think sleeping beauty met her
hubby if she woke up on her own?

Ditch the bad picture.

If you keep on convincing yourself that you're not the ligawin type
and that you've been invisible to men since birth, then all men
out there will start believing you. The mind has extraordinary
power that can make things happen-literally. Telekinesis and
levitation are classic examples. Mind power has the ability to
make you feel like a true Angelina Jolie, with a bit of makeup
magic. Likewise, the brain also has the power to make you look
like a poster girl for sprinsterhood if you're so convinced that you
are. So if you keep on radiating the aura that you're a nobody in
the dating scene, theh be ready to be in invisible mode for the
rest of your "hindi ako ligawin" kind of life.

Package yourself.

This is a hard, raw truth. And girls, admit it. In a dating world
where physical beauty is heralded as the eighth wonder of the
world, a woman's physical features double serve as her dating
license and guy locator. Inner beauty is a gold mine, but physical
beauty has its own carats as well. It's your skin, your hair, your
eyes, your body, and your smile that do the talking way before you
can even say "hello". Because again, admit it: first impressions
are established within the first 30 seconds of visual contact.
It's a permanent Kodak moment you wouldn't want to ruin.
So, whether or not your date is a hottie, there is no excuse
your wardrobe staples. Because, in marketing and in dating,
packaging is everything.

To be liked, you've got to like yourself first. And that's the number
one rule. You have to believe who you are, love who you are, and
see yourself distinct from the others. There is simply no point in
comparing yourself with others. Never let others define who you are.
And if you don't get a date, don't fret. There are millions of men
in this planet. So...off to the next!

IDIOMS COMMONLY MISTRANSLATED
Ako na lang (ang gagawa nyan) = I’ll do it or I’ll take care of it. Or let me do it.
(not * I’ll be the one to do it.)

Bababa ako = I’m getting off (from a vehicle)
(not * I’m going down.)

Mauuna na ako = (Good) bye
(not * I’ll go ahead, which implies that the hearer is expected to follow. The literal translation of the Filipino expression is I’m leaving now before you do. But this is not idiomatic in English.)

(not * Is someone sitting here?)

Noong isang araw = Day before yesterday
(not * the other day, which means “ a few days ago”.)

Sandali lang = Hold your line. Or Hold/ Hang on (when speaking on the phone) or just a second/ minute/ moment
(not * for awhile.)

Summer Hairstyles

While inside our car, I've noticed one stuff toy there with cool hair! It's like soaked in wax coz its very flexible and can change its style easily. Because of enjoyment in fixing his hair (or should I say wala lang mapagtripan nun..nyahaha..), I conducted some pictorials while traveling. So CUTE huh!!..

Here yie! Here yie! Lend me your attention. Here’s my second short story revised and hopefully not the last story I will post. Since this one and my previous post of story are only those stories that have been published. If “As If I Know” is comedy, this is a serious one. Hope you’ll like it.

Friends-in-love Phenomenon:

It’s quite normal for heterosexual teens to be friends. 95% of the time, I’m sure one falls for the other, she says. “It’s rare na mutual. Someone always gets hurt. Siguro kung pangit ka”.

The laws of attraction may explain teen’s susceptibility to romance”. “The law of attraction , as it turns out, simply states. Like attracts like”, which means, ask and you shall receive.

q & a

Why did you enter showbusiness?
I suppose God wanted it for me. GMA-7 called me after seeing an advertisement I did and asked me to go to the auditions for Capt. Barbell. I didn’t want to, but my parents made me… good thing they did because I got the role and am enjoying myself.

What do you consider as the turning point in your career?
I think when I stepped in the audition room for the McDonald’s ads, God already had showbiz in mind because the way everything happened was as if the ad was reserved for me

If you weren’t in showbiz, what kind of career would you have?
Modeling, student

What is your biggest frustration/regret?
When I do something out of obligation and not trying my best

What do most people not know about you?
I’m just like everyone else! I have my own weird insecurities, my own special talents and my own kapalpakans! I can’t ride a bike, I have a birthmark on my left bum and lagi akong nabubulol!

What is your most unforgettable experience?
The phone call that turned my life around. Nung nalaman ko na ako 'yung napili para gumanap kay “Leah” sa CB.

What are you most proud of?
That I’m a real person. I’m just me, I don’t pretend to be anyone else. I make mistakes and I accept that no one is perfect and kasali na ako doon. I don’t pretend to be anything more or anything less than what I am

What do you value most?
My morals, my beliefs, my religion, my purity, my family, my friends, my God and myself

What do you want to achieve?
I just want to get to the point where I am content, where I don’t need random things or certain people to make me feel complete. Actually, I’ve achieved it.
